The Institute of Biology and Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development will hold the
“Training Course on Application of Cell and Molecular Biology for Teaching and Research on Inland Aquatic Resources” on November 7-10, 2014
in Institute of Biology Building, National Science Complex, UP Diliman. The training course aims to promote cell and molecular techniques and
train individuals from academic, research, and aquaculture industries in the Philippines who will apply the different technologies. By the end
of the training course, the participants are expected to acquire the basic and advanced knowledge on cell and molecular biology techniques
including their applications on aquatic research; skills in immunological and proteomic studies, gene expression analysis, handling and
processing of molecular data; and experience in developing concept proposals for possible research projects employing cell and molecular
biology tools. For inquiries, please contact Dr. Edward A. Barlaan, Training Coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org).
